After nearly a decade of advocating for sustainable communities and alternative transportation in Chicago, Erin McMillan transplanted to the Bay Area. Erin’s work is guided by a belief that every community deserves clean air, access to safe and reliable transportation options, and the means to grow sustainably. She has worked both for and alongside grassroots organizations, elected officials, and community leaders of all levels to work toward this vision, creating diverse coalitions with a common goal. She’s passionate about the legislative process, and the advocacy that supports it, and is looking forward to continuing the fight for better transportation in Oakland.
Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Anthropology from the University of Kansas.
